corporate purpose project is an inquiry into systemic economic change. Using systems thinking, our narratives rise above political and commercial rhetoric so that we can face today’s challenges with clearer perspectives and practical solutions.

Outline of the series thus far:

  1. We unpack and resolve the capitalism vs. socialism debate

  2. We introduce an ecological perspective to economics.

  3. We reveal the gaps of mainstream corporate purpose theories.

  4. We overview the harms of extractive economic norms.

  5. We introduce the regenerative economic paradigm.

  6. We coalesce the inquiry into a holistic theory of change.

  7. We provoke the purpose of corporations in the sector of psychedelic medicines.

About us

Mike Rabin founded the project in 2019 out of a study that began in business school. During the pandemic, the inquiry expanded into systems thinking and diverse communities of practice. This essay series launched in 2021 and we began delivering talks and salons under the project name in 2023.

Mike’s first career was on the corporate ladder in product management and numerous strategic roles. He has undergraduate degrees in economics & political science (2010) and an MBA (2020).
